Mix some Titanium
White fairly dilute ( with the consistency of watered down
milk.) With your no6 sable brush load up with the white paint
you previously mixed. On a spare piece of scrap paper unload the
brush of all the paint until it is almost dry then splay out the
hairs so that your brush fans out. ( I use an old brush for
this as it can ruin them.) With the tips of the bristles stipple
lightly to the left of the centre of the leaf and also on the
far right of the leaf. Dry with the hairdryer. Now mix the white
a little stiffer and with the brush loaded as before stipple carefully
down the centre of where you last stippled. I find that this gives
some very believeable specular highlights.
